Independent school caterer Palmer & Howells has secured a catering partnership with Wychwood School in Oxford for an undisclosed sum.
Newly appointed chef manager Jack Moss will oversee the provision of locally sourced and seasonally inspired meals for the co-educational independent day and boarding school for students aged between 11 and 18.
With the support of a team of two chefs and catering assistants, Moss will also offer catering services for open days, sporting events and afternoon teas.
Emma Allen, operations director for Palmer & Howells, said: “We are so proud to have been chosen as the exclusive food service provider for Wychwood School. Our understanding of the importance of forging a partnership that delivers a personalised and bespoke catering experience paved the way for the school to confidently outsource its catering operation. We share the school’s passion for nurturing its pupils’ understanding of food and nutrition as well as instilling healthy eating habits from an early age.”
Duncan Radnor, director of operations at Wychwood School, added: “We are delighted by the initial positive and enthusiastic response of our pupils to the new food choices on offer. It is wonderful to have Palmer & Howells on board at the start of an exciting journey for the school.”
Palmer & Howells is a privately owned company founded in 1998. It provides catering services for around 20 independent day and boarding schools across the country.
